Salon industry leader Anthony Garubo launches the Advanced Hair Academy in New Jersey

MAPLEWOOD, N.J., Sept. 28, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- Stylist, salon owner, product developer, educator, mentor and coach are just a few words that describe Anthony Garubo's 40 years in the industry. With an ever-evolving passion for the business, he is excited to announce the debut of his latest project, the Advanced Hair Academy, with an exclusive launch event on Monday, October 23, 2017, from 6pm to 9pm at Anthony Garubo Salon, located at 174 Maplewood Ave., Maplewood NJ. 

The Anthony Garubo Advanced Hair Academy is a training program designed to fill the void between cosmetology school and the competitive world of professional hairdressing. The Academy enriches salon professionals at all stages of their careers, from recent cosmetology-school graduates to stylists of all skill levels and salon owners seeking a new perspective on management. Garubo has hand-selected a team of educators who are seasoned experts in cutting, coloring and customer service, and classes are taught in a dynamic, interactive format designed to cater to visual thinkers and provide hands-on training in a real salon environment.

The Advanced Hair Academy curriculum is based on Garubo's own educational program, which has been crafted and refined over four decades. Rather than poaching talent, Anthony Garubo grows talent. From its inception, the salon has chosen to invest in and develop its staff from the ground up through ongoing training and mentoring—from new apprentices to stylists on the floor earning well over six figures.
