Salt Lake City Facial Plastic Surgeon Dr. Eric Cerrati Named One of Salt Lake Magazine's 2026 Top Doctors

Eric W. Cerrati, MD, FACS, a double board-certified facial plastic surgeon with offices in Salt Lake City and Park City, has been selected for Salt Lake Magazine's 2026 Top Doctors list. The recognition is based on a peer-review survey in which only licensed Utah physicians nominate the colleagues they would trust with their own care or the care of a loved one.

SALT LAKE CITY, Sept. 21, 2026/PRNewswire/ -- Eric W. Cerrati, MD, FACS, has been named one of Salt Lake Magazine's 2026 Top Doctors. Dr. Cerrati is a double board-certified facial plastic surgeon whose practice is devoted exclusively to cosmetic and reconstructive surgery of the face and neck, with offices in Salt Lake City and Park City.

Salt Lake Magazine partnered with Professional Research Services (PRS), an independent research firm based in Troy, Michigan, to conduct the peer-review research and selection process for the 2026 Top Doctors list. Honorees were selected based on nominations and research conducted by PRS. Only licensed physicians — MDs, DOs and DPMs — practicing along the Wasatch Front, in Southern Utah and in the Park City area are eligible to vote; patients, family members and friends are not. Voting physicians are asked to nominate local peers they would trust with their own care or the care of a loved one. Registration and voting are free, and physicians cannot purchase inclusion. According to PRS, the physicians who receive the most votes in each specialty are then screened through verification of licensing and review of any infractions with applicable boards, agencies and rating services before the final list is published.

Because the list is built on physician nominations, it reflects how Dr. Cerrati is regarded by the medical community he practices alongside. Before opening his solo private practice, he served as Assistant Professor and Director of Facial Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery at the University of Utah. He also maintains leadership roles within the American Academy of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery (AAFPRS), which recognized him in 2026 for his leadership as Chair of its Fellowship Research Review Subcommittee.

Dr. Cerrati's surgical work centers on deep plane facelift, deep necklift, endoscopic browlift, upper and lower blepharoplasty, lip lift, rhinoplasty and complex revision facial surgery. He does not perform breast or body procedures, a focus that allows him to dedicate his training and surgical experience entirely to the anatomy of the face and neck. Eric W. Cerrati, MD, FACS, is a double board-certified facial plastic surgeon, certified by both the American Board of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery and the American Board of Otolaryngology – Head and Neck Surgery. He is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons.

Dr. Cerrati earned his medical degree from the Medical University of South Carolina and completed a five-year residency in Otolaryngology – Head and Neck Surgery at New York University, where he served as chief resident in his final year.
