San Francisco Dentist Dr. David Blende Receives Presidential Award from National Special Care Dentistry Association

SAN FRANCISCO, June 23 /PRNewswire/ -- Dr. David Blende of San Francisco was recognized for his many years of service to the Special Care Dentistry Association (SCDA) when the organization presented Dr. Blende with their Presidential Award. The Awards Ceremony took place Sunday, March 28, 2010, at the SCDA's annual national meeting at the Swissotel in Chicago.

Through his practice, the Blende Dental Group, Dr. Blende and his team provide compassionate dental care to special needs patients, often in their own homes.

The SCDA provides educational opportunities and an information exchange for oral health care professionals who treat patients with special needs. The organization works as a focal point for dentists and health care groups with a common interest in improving oral health for the frequently under-served special needs population.
