San Francisco Startup, Shift, Names Toby Russell as President
SAN FRANCISCO, Feb. 23, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- Shift Technologies, Inc., the used car buying marketplace that brings test drive to customers, today announced that Toby Russell was named company President. Russell has been with Shift since November 2015 and prior to Shift oversaw digital at Capital One.

Before joining Shift, Russell was Managing Vice President of Digital at Capital One where he launched mobile banking and helped change the way customers relate to their money. He co-founded the first on demand mobile ground transportation company with Arison – Taxi Magic – with the vision of enabling people to get around cities with the touch of a mobile app. Toby also has spent time in public service and led a $12 billion renewable energy and efficiency investment program for the U.S. Department of Energy.
