Sandestin Investments names Glenn Kornahrens General Manager, Cottage Rental Agency in Seaside FL

DESTIN, FL, July 22, 2011 /PRNewswire/ - Sandestin Investments, LLC, the management company for premier resort destination properties on Florida's Gulf Coast, today announced the appointment of Glenn Kornahrens as general manager of Cottage Rental Agency in Seaside.

According to John Russell, president of Sandestin Investments, Kornahrens will be responsible for guiding the talented operations team to higher levels of guest and owner satisfaction as well as increased revenues and greater profitability.  "We are fortunate to have Glenn's depth of hospitality knowledge and service on our senior management team," said Russell.

Kornahren's efforts will include communication between CRA and the Seaside Community Development Corporation, the Town Council and the more than 215 home owners who trust CRA with the care and rental of their units.  He will also be involved in the community through participation in the Seaside Arts and Entertainment Council and the Seeing Red Wine Festival.

Kornahrens began his hospitality career at Seabrook Island Resort in Charleston, South Carolina, and was later promoted to operations and group sales positions.  Glenn expanded his senior sales experience at several of the Southeast's top ocean and golf and tennis resorts.  He was then selected to lead the property level sales and marketing initiatives for companies including Ritz-Carlton, Westin and Hilton, as well as top independent management companies.

He is a graduate of The Citadel in South Carolina.  He and his wife Mary Beth have two children and two grandchildren and reside in Destin, FL.
