The Pull-up For Hunger event raised $11,461 which provided 22,923 nutritious meals to individuals and families in need.
ENCINITAS, Calif., May 14, 2025 /PRNewswire/ -- Sandiola proudly announces the successful completion of the 2nd annual Pull-Up for Hunger fundraiser, held on March 24, 2025 at San Dieguito Academy High School in Encinitas, CA. In collaboration with The Jacobs & Cushman San Diego Food Bank and the San Dieguito Academy High School Girls & Boys Lacrosse teams, the event aimed to fight hunger and build awareness around food insecurity in San Diego County.
With food insecurity impacting over 44.2 million Americans, including 13 million children, the need for help is greater than ever. Pull-up For Hunger provided an excellent opportunity for members of the Encinitas community to raise funds for those in need.

The fundraiser raised $11,461 for the San Diego Food Bank, enough for 22,923 meals for people in San Diego County who are struggling with food insecurity. The event has also turned into a community event with local corporate sponsors including Coastal Cardiovascular Care, DLK Investment Management, Watermen Investments, and Hansen's Surf & Board Shop.
