A strategic addition to Sandow's burgeoning portfolio of companies, Wonder strengthens and extends the marketing platform of the company, coming shortly after the recent announcement of the Sandow purchase of Materials Connexion and Culture & Commerce. The sale provides Wonder an opportunity to remain autonomous, while solidifying a foundation for growth and gaining new synergies across the Sandow platforms of marketing, media, experiential events and commerce. While Wonder will remain primarily externally focused, it will also provide a range of marketing services to support and enhance the Sandow brands.
"Wonder is a unique company that understands the value of innovation, which is why they will be a core asset to Sandow," said Adam I. Sandow, Chairman and CEO of Sandow Media. "This acquisition shows our commitment to expanding our presence within the branding, design and digital industry, and our integrated resources will lead to substantial agency growth under the leadership of Randy Herbertson and Chris Dowling."
"We are enthused to be joining Sandow at this key point in time in the development and expansion of both companies," said Randy Herbertson, President of Wonder. "We are deeply vested in Wonder's core branding proposition. Supported by Adam Sandow's innovative vision and the firm's resources, we will further build our external practice and create new levels of marketing excellence and collaboration with our sister companies."
"We have chosen the name 'Wonder' to mark this new chapter of our existence, as it represents the intelligence and humility that is at the core of great idea discovery, from breakthrough consumer insights and brand strategy, best in class design, to new to the world digital execution," continued Herbertson.
