NEW YORK, April 30, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- Sandow Media announced today that it has appointed James Dimonekas President of Worth Media Group, including its flagship brand Worth, the prestigious magazine that has transformed the landscape for high net worth individuals with an avid interest in the intelligent stewardship of their personal wealth.
Dimonekas has been with Sandow since 2009, acting as Executive Vice President, Group Publisher, with a primary focus on supporting the re-launch of Worth, developing the Curator event series and building out Sandow's exclusive custom newsstand distribution at private airports across the country. As President of Worth Media Group, James will also oversee all editorial, marketing and sales teams' initiatives for the group, with a primary focus on aligning marketing partners with high net worth consumers through Worth's Leading Wealth Advisor program, custom tailored events and key industry alliances.

Prior to joining Sandow, Mr. Dimonekas worked at Marquis Jet as President of MGX Lab, a web development company that specializes in incubating, innovating and developing brand experiences and whose clients include Tom Brady, The Jonas Brothers, American Idol and Muhammad Ali. He also served as Senior Vice President for Marquis Jet and Executive Vice President for Suite Access. Prior to Marquis Jet, Mr. Dimonekas served as vice president and publisher at Robb Report, a leading luxury lifestyle magazine. Under his leadership, Robb Report became a leading force in the luxury lifestyle space. Mr. Dimonekas also had a highly successful tenure as publisher at Playboy where he led significant revenue growth in the fashion, consumer electronics, spirits and direct response categories and was instrumental in the launch of the Super Bowl Super Saturday Party. He began his career in publishing in 1984 at Ziff Davis with the launch of PC Week.
