LEHIGH VALLEY, Pa., June 25, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- Handicare US announced that Sandra Duncanson-Irizarry has been appointed to the newly created position of Vice President of Finance effective immediately.
Duncanson-Irizarry, who comes to Handicare with over 25 years experience in Finance and Accounting, will be based in Allentown, Penn., and report to President of the US Division, Hans Sigvardsson. In her new role, Duncanson-Irizarry will be responsible for all budgeting, financial reporting and accounting aspects for the US operations and will work closely with the senior management team to achieve the Company's key strategic and operational goals and growth.
Prior to her new role, Sandra was most recently Chief Financial Officer for Bulthaup Corporation, in Roseland, NJ, where she was responsible for all financial and fiscal management aspects for the U.S. operations of the global German manufacturer. She worked closely on the strategic growth plan, which resulted in growing the US business by more than 50%.
