SANLUIS Rassini Supplying Suspension Components and Rotors on the All-New 2014 Chevrolet Silverado and 2014 GMC Sierra

PLYMOUTH, Mich., July 15, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- SANLUIS Rassini, a leading automotive supplier of suspension components and rotors in North America and Brazil, is supplying General Motors' fully redesigned GMC Sierra and Chevrolet Silverado trucks, two of the most popular and best-selling vehicles in the company's U.S. lineup.

SANLUIS Rassini is providing leaf springs, coil springs and brake rotors for the 2014 Chevrolet Silverado and GMC Sierra – which are already in showrooms.

The rotors Rassini is supplying incorporate an anticorrosive heat treatment known as FNC (Ferritic Nitro-Carburizing) which improves the life of the rotor, while at the same time reduces noise and vibration.

In the first quarter of 2013, light truck sales in North America were up 10 percent over the same period in 2012 and according to media reports, are being pushed to the highest level in as much as eight years.

Similarly, in the first quarter of 2013, SANLUIS Rassini saw an 8 percent increase in sales vs. the same time period last year. The company, based on market information released by IHS forecasters, is also expecting to exceed last year's sales numbers by 12-15 percent.
