Event Simulcast Provides Students Cost-Effective, Convenient Interactive Access to SANS' Top Training Classes via Real Time Streaming

BETHESDA, Md., Feb. 21, 2012 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- SANS Institute today announced its largest training event of the year, SANS 2012, will be offered via live simulcast.  Event Simulcast provides a new delivery mechanism that allows students with limited training budgets or travel bans interactive access to SANS' top training classes. SANS 2012 will be held in Orlando, March 23 – 30.

Event Simulcast classes are live and interactive, allowing participants to ask questions and share experiences with their instructor and classmates. Classes are recorded and placed in an online archive, enabling access if students are called away from the live event or wish to view the material again at a later date. Students registered for simulcast event classes will receive the same books, discs, and MP3 audio files that in-person participants receive, and will see and hear the same information as it is presented at the live event without travel.
