SANTA FE, N.M., Nov. 11, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- In recognition of Veterans Day and in gratitude of the sacrifice of the men and women who have served in the U.S. Armed Forces, Santa Fe University of Art & Design (SFUAD) today honored its employee and student veterans, and thanked them for their service.

In recognition of Veterans Day, Santa Fe University of Art & Design (SFUAD), a designated Military Friendly School, today honored and thanked its employee and student veterans for their service and sacrifice to our nation. SFUAD student veterans share their story and how they are now pursuing their academic and creative dreams at SFUAD.

In recognition of Veterans Day and in gratitude of the sacrifice of the men and women who have served in the U.S. Armed Forces, Santa Fe University of Art & Design (SFUAD) today honored its employee and student veterans, and thanked them for their service. SFUAD is proud to participate in the Yellow Ribbon GI Education Enhancement Program and in 2016, Military Friendly(R) designated SFUAD as a Military Friendly School. SFUAD is proud to participate in the Yellow Ribbon GI Education Enhancement Program and in 2016, Military Friendly® designated SFUAD as a Military Friendly School, meaning that SFUAD is recognized as an institution dedicated to helping U.S. military veterans and their dependents earn their degrees.

SFUAD offers active military members and veterans support financially, as well. SFUAD honors the educational benefits for active-duty service members, reservists, veterans of the armed forces, spouses and their dependents.

Beginning in the fall of 2017, students who are Active Duty, Reserves or Veterans of the U.S. Air Force, Army, Navy, Marine Corps and Coast Guard qualify for a tuition discount of up to 40 percent over the life of the program.
