SARASOTA, Fla., Oct. 26, 2011 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- Out of nearly 800 Holiday Inns in the U.S., the spectacular new one at Sarasota-Bradenton airport has come in second in rankings of customer service. The hotel features a six-story atrium inside the building, bunk beds for kids, an outdoor fire pit conversation area, and a "Sporting News" restaurant and bar, among other features.
A report from the parent company, Intercontinental Hotels, gives the Sarasota-Bradenton Holiday Inn a score of 92.57, for second rank among all hotels in the U.S. and third internationally. The report was quoted by Mohammad Gharavi, general manager, who sent it to managers with a note saying, "I'm proud of all of you. Please thank your staff for their hard work and dedication to service to our guests."
The Sarasota-Bradenton hotel, which is about to celebrate its third birthday, gained 2.16 points from the preceding reporting period. In the rankings from IHG, only the Holiday Inn in Anderson, S.C. exceeded the local score.
The ratings measure guest satisfaction and are labeled "OSAT" by the trade.
