SAT App Grows 'Smarter' the More You Use It

NEW YORK, May 17 /PRNewswire/ -- With the next round of SAT testing coming up soon, why spend money on costly review courses and books when you can study right on your mobile device at a fraction of the cost?  Adapster, the first adaptive test preparation app available for the iPhone, iPad and iPod Touch, is bringing SAT math prep to the masses and now offers several new features to would-be test takers, including innovative adaptive tests and a free diagnostic exam with detailed score reports.  It is the only app of its kind that actually learns a student's strengths and weaknesses and creates a custom study plan tailored to their needs, allowing them to focus on what they need to know instead of what they have already mastered.

Adapster, created by Empire Edge, is currently available in both a full version ($9.99 USD) and a free "Flex" version, which provides a diagnostic test and allows you to purchase only the parts you need based on a number of subject areas and sub-topics relating to the math portion of the SAT exam.  The full version comes loaded with 150 lessons and over 1,000 questions written by a team of professional educators to mimic SAT math problems as closely as possible.  Input formats include both multiple choice and "grid-in" formats.  With the addition of adaptive tests, instead of having to choose a particular area to work on yourself, the app can suggest problem areas for you to target.
