'Savor the Central Coast' New Food and Wine Event for California's Central Coast Tickets go on Sale May 5, 2010
SAN LUIS OBISPO COUNTY, Calif., May 5 /PRNewswire/ -- Tickets for the inaugural culinary adventure "SUNSET – Savor the Central Coast" go on sale May 5, 2010. This exciting new food and wine celebration, with expected attendance of more than 8,000 from throughout California, is scheduled for September 30-October 3, 2010 and will take place at Santa Margarita Ranch and locations throughout San Luis Obispo County, California.
General admission tickets for the marquis weekend event at Santa Margarita Ranch are $85 per person, per day ($150 for two-day passes). Tickets for auxiliary activities range from $15 to $185: seminars ($15), culinary tours ($50), winery and harvest tours ($50), winemaker dinners ($125) and special events ($25-$185). A limited number of general admission tickets at a special price of $75 per person, per day are available on a first-come basis for residents of San Luis Obispo County ($130 for two-day passes).
"Savor the Central Coast" will highlight the talents of Central Coast winemakers, chefs and artisanal food producers with unique culinary tours, celebrity chef demonstrations, and one-of-a-kind winemaker dinners. Excursions throughout the county with Sunset Magazine's expert editors and celebrity chefs will enhance the "Savor" experience as participants Tour, Sip and Savor the beauty of California's largely unexplored Central Coast and San Luis Obispo County's Santa Margarita Ranch and surrounding communities.
