The M Series 1D/2D Scanner features a Hard-Key keyboard, Micro SD slot, Sim Card slot, GPS tracking and a removable battery with optional charging dock. The device can operate in temperatures from -25 to +70 C with a 4-inch Durable Backlit touch screen.
"The inclusion of a physical keyboard on the M Series, rather than just a soft keyboard, is critical within the Logistics industry. Gloves are often worn as a key safety item, so an on-screen keyboard is not always practical to use. This was a key feature we knew we had to have," adds Andrew.
Integrations
ScanSKU is unique among hardware manufactures in that they also pair their devices with in-house software. The range of M Series Scanners come with the ScanSKU Stocktaking application. The Stocktaking application is customisable, and can capture additional data whilst performing a stocktake, capturing the condition of parts with the in-built 5-megapixel camera. Stocktake results can then be emailed directly from the device with the click of a button, as soon as the count has been completed. This integration between hardware and software means the package can be used straight out of the box.
