Small Eastside LA School Celebrates Six-Figure Art Room and Program Renovation Oct. 18th
LOS ANGELES, Oct. 17, 2011 /PRNewswire/ --
WHAT: Despite nationwide reductions in arts education, one local grade school on the eastside of LA, celebrates its new $150,000 art program and shiny new studio.

Those changes include: new head of school, a new director of advancement, a new director of lower elementary, a new science lab and a future preschool building.
WHO: Newly appointed Debbi David, Head of School, St. James' School; Philanthropists Bill and Carla Ahmanson, along with a uniquely diverse gathering of local artists, African-American, Koreatown and Hancock Park notables along with parents of the school community.
