NEW YORK, June 18, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- Schroders, the $318.9 billion* global asset manager, announced the appointment of Tiffani Potesta, CIMA®, as Head of Advisory Sales within the US Key Accounts team, reporting to Erin Brenner, Head of Intermediary Key Accounts. Ms. Potesta joins Schroders in order to continue to develop the company's presence in North America.

Ms. Potesta has over 17 years of experience working with asset managers, banks, insurance companies, and regional and national broker dealer firms. She joins Schroders from DWS Investments, where she served as Director, National Account Manager and Head of Third Party Insurance and DCIO. Prior to joining DWS she worked as Director and Head of National Accounts at First Eagle Funds, where she was responsible for strategic business development and management of all client relationships.

Schroders has been in growth mode over the past five years, and continues to build out its distribution efforts in the US with recent hires on the internal and external sales teams. The coverage model for the Intermediary Sales team, led by Dave Jodka, Head of Intermediary Sales, has shifted from four territories in the US to eight. Recent additions to the team include Jim Carpenter, who covers the South Atlantic region and previously worked at Goldman Sachs Asset Management. Jim brings 25 years of experience in the financial services industry, holding positions in asset management distribution and as a Financial Advisor. In addition, Adam Rouse has joined as an internal wholesaler to further support the distribution team. Adam was previously a Senior Investment Consultant for Allianz Global Investors. The group will be expanding further and looking to add several positions, including a Sales Director covering the Northeast.
