SCIenergy, Inc. Names Former Lieutenant Governor of Arkansas, Bill Halter to Board of Directors

SAN FRANCISCO, Oct. 20, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- SCIenergy, Inc., the global leader in providing cloud-based energy management solutions for building owners and operators, today announced it has named former Lieutenant Governor of Arkansas, Bill Halter to its Board of Directors.

Halter served as Lieutenant Governor of Arkansas from 2007-2011.  Previously, Halter was also nominated by President Clinton and served as Deputy Commissioner and later as Acting Commissioner of the Social Security Administration where he championed the implementation of Social Security services via the Internet.  

Halter has advised Fortune 500 companies from a range of industries while working as a management consultant with McKinsey and Company, and has served on the boards of five public companies: Akamai Technologies, webMethods, InterMune, Xenogen, and Threshold Pharmaceuticals.
