Score Results of the Global Solicitation of Sichuan Tianfu New Area was Announced

To highlight the regional feature of the Tianfu New Area, promote the popularity and influence, build up the brand image and drive the growth and development, the Office of Sichuan Tianfu New Area Administration Committee published and officially initiated "The Global Solicitation for the Logo and Promotion Planning Proposals of Sichuan Tianfu New Area" on January 25, 2016. This global solicitation is for the design of the logo for the Sichuan Tianfu New Area, and Proposal for Promotion Planning of Sichuan Tianfu New Area. Apart from delivering cultural references and displaying international modernization, the proposals shall conform to the strategic orientation of Sichuan Tianfu New Area, "The pole of Western economy and high ground of technology innovation; an international modern area primarily devoted to manufacturing industry and high-end service industry; a city eligible for business and habitation."

Sichuan Tianfu New Area attracts global attention by leveraging its global solicitation campaign. Via press reports and the global solicitation campaign, people have obtained information, such as the strategic orientation of Sichuan Tianfu New Area, its investment advantages and the National District charm of "Ecology, Intelligence, Humanity".

Sichuan Tianfu New Area publicity pictures have appeared in Times Square on January 26, 2016 (US Time), letting investment institutions, business incubators and emerging entrepreneurs learn more about Tianfu New Area. On March 7-8, 2016 (US Time), The Global Solicitation Organization Committee for Sichuan Tianfu New Area came to the Silicon Valley and visited Draper University, FITINY firm, UstartX and the Silicon Valley Technology Innovation & Entrepreneurship Forum to introduce the Global Solicitation Sichuan Tianfu New Area Logo Design Campaign, as well as to share the Sichuan Tianfu New Area industrial development story in with them.

The global solicitation for the logo and promotion planning proposals of Sichuan Tianfu New Area was officially initiated by the Office of Sichuan Tianfu New Area Administration Committee on January 25, 2016. From January 25, 2016 (China Beijing Time) to April 24, 2016 (China Beijing Time). In two and half months, the office received a total of 245 pieces of Logo Design works and 12 pieces of Promotion Planning Proposals works. Top 5 pieces of Logo Design works and Proposal works were selected through six days of assessments by panels of experts at home and board from April 6, 2016 (China Beijing Time) to April 12, 2016 (China Beijing Time). A total of 35,000 people voted on the 5 logos visible on official media and the official website from April 13 to April 24. In the next six months, the 5 entry works were opened to the public and evaluated by the public. After comprehensively considered the public feedback, the voting result and the evaluation opinions of panels of experts at home and board, the top five finalists were selected and announced by Global Solicitation Organization Committee for Sichuan Tianfu New Area on December 30, 2016 (China Beijing Time).
