Scott Abernathy Named Regional Mentor for Property Management Inc. Franchisees
LEHI, Utah, Dec. 6, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- As the Property Management Inc. (PMI) network expands nationwide, PMI names another Regional Mentor, Scott Abernathy, to serve the Tennessee Area. Abernathy will provide coaching to other PMI property managers in the Tennessee region. Scott Abernathy, owner of PMI Professionals in Murfreesboro, Tenn., brings over 25 years of experience the the PMI network.
As PMI has grown and expanded its network across the United States, Steve Hart, President, saw a need to create a leadership infrastructure out in the field. Regional mentors bring their experience of owning, operating and growing a successful property management business to other PMI franchisees. "Our regional mentor program creates an advantage to our franchisees by allowing them access to a property manager, who has 25 plus years in the business and is on their team and invested in their success," said Hart. Property management has become known as the stable segment of the real estate industry making it a favorite business for entrepreneurs who may not have experience. The regional mentor program creates an advantage for new PMI property managers.

Abernathy purchased his first triplex in Oct. 1989, beginning his property management career. Before partnering with Reliant Realty, he worked for Coldwell Banker and then accepted a managing broker position at Prudential Real Estate. Abernathy is the president of the National Association of Residential Property Managers, Nashville chapter, and serves on the Middle Tennessee Association of Realtors board of directors. He served in the United States Air Force for four years and is a lifelong resident of Murfreesboro, Tenn.
