Scott Blake Harris Returns to Harris, Wiltshire & Grannis
WASHINGTON, May 12, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- Wiltshire & Grannis announced today that Scott Blake Harris has returned to the firm he helped found in 1998, and that the firm has assumed its original name, Harris, Wiltshire & Grannis LLP. Mr. Harris will become Chairman of the firm.
Mr. Harris returns to Harris, Wiltshire & Grannis after five years away, during which time he served as General Counsel of the U.S. Department of Energy, General Counsel of Neustar, Inc., and most recently as a Managing Partner of Wilkinson Barker Knauer LLP.

Mr. Harris was the first Chief of the International Bureau at the Federal Communications Commission, and he continues to be a leader in the communications bar. He is currently serving as the Co-Chair of the Federal Communication Commission's Advisory Committee on the 2015 World Radio Conference, and as a member of the Department of State's Advisory Committee on Communications and International Policy. In addition, while at the Department of Energy, he served as Co-Chair of the Broadband Subcommittee of the White House's National Science and Technology Council. Mr. Harris is also serving as a member of the Department of Energy's Appliance Standards and Rulemaking Advisory Committee. In addition to his service at the FCC and the Energy Department, Mr. Harris has served as Chief Counsel for Export Administration in the U.S. Department of Commerce. Early in his career, he was a law clerk to the Honorable Gerhard A. Gesell on the U.S. District Court for the District of Columbia.
