Scott Dever Joins The Shelby Group as VP Sourcing Solutions

SCHAUMBURG, Ill., March 21, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- The Shelby Group, a leader in Procurement Optimization, announced today that Scott Dever has joined the company as Vice President of Sourcing Solutions.  Mr. Dever will oversee Shelby's Sourcing Solutions business and lead the delivery of the Category Solutions offering, which helps companies achieve double-digit cost improvement and faster speed to savings across a wide range of indirect spend categories.

Mr. Dever possesses an extensive background in the procurement industry. He has led global transformations for industry-leading brands resulting in broad-based change initiatives and breakthrough cost improvement.

Mr. Dever joins the company from Xchanging plc where he was Executive Vice President and Managing Director for Procurement Services in the Americas. Prior to this, Mr. Dever held positions as Vice President of Procurement for Motorola, Chief Procurement Officer at Hewitt Associates, Vice President of Procurement and Strategic Sourcing at Sears Holdings, and Vice President of Global Procurement at Hasbro.
