Scott Nickerson Named Global Director of Quality at Evolucia Inc.

SARASOTA, Fla., July 8, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- Mel Interiano CEO of Evolucia Inc. (OTCBB & OTCQB: ILED) announces today the appointment of Scott Nickerson as the company's Global Director of Quality. Nickerson brings 39 years of experience in the electronics industry. Throughout his career, he has implemented quality systems and has helped organizations achieve important manufacturing certifications  for a number of high tech manufacturing environments. At Evolucia, he will be responsible for creating, implementing and maintaining Evolucia's world class quality systems, certifications and document control. Nickerson will also be instrumental in the development of an LED (light emitting diode) solution manufacturing environment with best-in-class equipment, tools, best practices and process control. He will report directly to Mel Interiano, CEO of Evolucia Inc.

Before joining Evolucia, Nickerson was most recently Director of Quality and Operations at Sparton Electronics/Creonix, LLC in Bradenton, FL where he implemented and maintained AS9100 and ISO1385 registrations and quality management systems.  He held various Quality Management and Quality Assurance positions at Sensata Tech., Power Controls GBU; Mnemonics Inc.; Analog Modules, Inc.; Applied Manufacturing Concepts, World Access Inc. and Prime Computer Inc.  Nickerson also spent several years as an independent quality and sales consultant helping a number of firms complete supplier management projects.
