Scott Palladino Joins Patriot Underwriters, Inc. As Southeast Regional Branch Manager

FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla., Aug. 20, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- Patriot Underwriters, Inc. (PUI), a Patriot National, Inc. company, is pleased to announce that Scott Palladino, CPCU, MBA has joined the company as Branch Manager of its Southeast Regional office located in Charlotte, North Carolina. In his new role, Mr. Palladino will oversee all marketing and underwriting responsibilities for the Southeast Region, encompassing the states of Georgia, Alabama, Louisiana, Mississippi, Kentucky, North Carolina, South Carolina, Tennessee, Virginia and West Virginia.

Mr. Palladino comes to Patriot from Sompo Japan Insurance Company of America where he was an Assistant Vice President of Specialty Operations.  He also held the position of Chief Underwriting Officer from 2009 to 2011.  Prior to Sompo, Mr. Palladino was with Liberty Mutual Insurance Company from 1987 to 2009 where he held various underwriting roles in both national and middle markets, and was heavily involved in the insurer's corporate strategy.

Mr. Palladino received his Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Administration from Stonehill College in North Easton, MA and his Master's Degree in Business Administration from the Bentley College Graduate School of Business in Waltham, MA.  He earned the Chartered Property and Casualty Underwriter designation in 2003.
