
Scotty Reiss Elected President Of The International Motor Press Association
NEW YORK, Feb. 2, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- The International Motor Press Association membership has elected Scotty Reiss, co-founder/editor-in-chief of SheBuysCars.com, to a two-year term as president of the 573-member, 55-year-old organization of professional communicators involved in every aspect of the automotive world. She succeeds David Kiley, freelance writer, who moves to president emeritus.
In addition to Reiss, Bill Howard, PC Magazine auto editor will be the new second vice president, and Marianne Brunson Frisch, principal Marianne B Frisch Communications was elected as secretary; both will serve two-year terms.
Joining the Board of Directors are Joel Levin, freelance writer; Stephen Martin, product communications-East Coast for General Motors, and Steven Oldham, Manager, Corporate Communications, Northeast/Mid-Atlantic for Nissan.
Carrying over as officers and directors are: Robert Calem, freelance writer as first vice president; Michael Geylin, principal Kermish-Geylin PR as treasurer, and Wade Hoyt, freelance writer, Tamara Mlynarczyk, Mazda's manager of public affairs and John Voelcker, editor of GreenCarReports.com, who will serve as directors.
