The last of his 29 animals, recognized by the Pope & Young Club, was fittingly the coveted desert bighorn sheep.  Unquestionably, the North American Super Slam remains bow hunting's highest achievement with few having ever attained the goal. Miranda not only triumphed, but also became the first person to capture every hunt on camera for the hunting public to enjoy.  

Always looking for the next big challenge, personally and for his audience, Tom decided some 13 years ago to seek the ultimate challenge by pursuing the North American Super Slam. With a cameraman at his side and his bow in hand, Tom trekked across remote areas of the continent.  After many blown hunts due to bad camera angles and animals being out of view, Tom was finally able to do what no one had done before him. Miranda will receive the coveted Super Slam award presented by Grand Slam Club/OVIS at the Hunter and Outfitter Convention in Las Vegas on February 22, 2012.
