TRINITY, N.C., Nov. 12, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- Sealy, Inc. (NYSE: ZZ), the largest bedding manufacturer in the world, has announced a Black Friday promotion in order to draw customers to retail stores on one of America's busiest shopping days.

According to the National Retail Federation, a record 226 million shoppers visited stores and websites over the Black Friday weekend in 2011, spending an estimated $52.4 billion.  This year, the organization predicts national holiday retail sales in November and December will increase 4.1 percent. To capitalize on this excitement, and continue the momentum on its successful Optimum™ line, Sealy will offer consumers a free box spring with the purchase of a new OptimumTM mattress from November 12–26.
