Sean Beausoleil joins Avison Young in Boston

Leading real estate project manager joins as Principal to enhance service platform in New England market

BOSTON, Dec. 12, 2011 /PRNewswire/ - John Fenton, Avison Young Principal and Managing Director of the company's Boston office, announced today that leading commercial real estate project director Sean B. Beausoleil has joined Avison Young's service platform in New England.

Effective immediately, Beausoleil joins Avison Young as a Principal and Director of Project Management for the New England region. Based in Avison Young's Boston office, he will focus his efforts on growing the firm's project management business and further expanding the company's brand in the region. He was most recently Managing Director at CBRE/New England.

Beausoleil served for 13 years at CBRE/New England where he established the firm's development and project management group and directed a team of 12 professionals supporting five CBRE offices and three remote client sites. In addition, he built a service platform that generated annual revenues in excess of $1.5 million and co-ordinated and led New England project management support of other CBRE business lines and regions.

Over his 25-year commercial real estate career, Beausoleil has developed a bi-coastal tenant representation practice with an expertise in the high-technology sector, including mission-critical data centers and life sciences laboratories. He has also represented Boston's blue-chip landlords on some of the largest downtown and suburban office buildings in the market and executed more than 2 million square feet of fit-out and renovation work on behalf of his clients.
