SeaQuatic Aquariums Provides 4,000-Gallon Tank to Embry Riddle Aeronautical University

The Embry Riddle Aeronautical University tank is a hydrodynamic tank used specifically for research testing, thus reliability, durability and strength was key. This project required onsite assembly of the fiberglass body. SeaQuatic Aquariums delivered the tank to its location at Embry Riddle Aeronautical University in 4 different sections due to its considerable length, and the fiberglass was bonded together. Additionally, SeaQuatic Aquariums handled the onsite installation of the viewing panels which measured in at 8 – 92"(L) x 46"(H) x 2"(Thick) 2 – 36"(L) x 46"(H) x 2"(Thick). The final tank dimensions were 384"(L) x 48"(W) x 48"(H) and the aquarium rested on a stable and durable blue powder coated steel stand that supported a full weight of 40,000 LBS.
