Sears Canada Launches The New Baby Department Across Canada

Special Appearance by Nanny Robina at the Toronto Eaton Centre to Celebrate the Launch

TORONTO, June 1, 2012 /CNW/ - New and expectant Toronto moms will get the ultimate introduction to the latest design ideas, product innovations and safety tips from the New Baby Department in the Kids Room when Sears Canada hosts an exclusive evening for mommy bloggers and soon-to-be-moms at the Toronto Eaton Centre on June 1 from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m.

Today, Sears President and Chief Executive Officer, Calvin McDonald, will kick off the official launch at 7:15 p.m., followed by an exclusive appearance from Nanny Robina, parenting expert and media personality. Nanny Robina will present her Top Nursery Must-Haves, with tips on parenting.

It is organized into five categories that are clearly signed: nursery, travel, activity, feeding and gifting," said Tracy Culleton, Vice-President of The Kids Room at Sears Canada. "The signing also provides all the features and benefits of the product assortment. Another new introduction is 'take-with' inventory; when customers are shopping for cribs, strollers or car seats, Sears now stocks these in store so that they can be taken home on the same day."
