Sears® Shop Your Way(SM) And searsStyle Jean Scene In Central Park

NEW YORK, Aug. 6, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- Sears is excited to announce the "Sears Shop Your Way and searsStyle Jean Scene" experience in Central Park's Bandshell on August 12, 2013 from 5-8 p.m. With over 1,000 styles of denim offered at Sears and Shop Your Way, the brand is showcasing an expansive representation of jeans to try on, as well as giving 1000 attendees the opportunity to take home a new pair of jeans and a denim drawstring backpack. The event kicks off the upcoming back-to-school season with the denim showcase for men, women and juniors along with a one time special performance by Dancing with the Stars' Derek Hough.

The "Sears Shop Your Way and searsStyle Jean Scene" will also feature entertainment from local radio station Z-100: DJ personality Garrett Vo will MC while his Z-100 party crew pumps up the crowd with a prize wheel, offering members and guests a chance to win Sears gift cards, tote bags, sunglasses and more. Sears is additionally teaming up with Wafels & Dinges, a popular New York City food truck, to distribute their Famous Throwdown mini-wafel and ice cream. The first 100 Shop Your Way members will be escorted through the member priority line and receive $10 Wafels & Dinges gift cards. Prior to the event, Wafels & Dinges will distribute free mini wafelinis throughout various New York City locations to prospective attendees.
