Seattle Author Ryan K. Howard Makes the Jump from Writing Software to Writing Fiction with Debut Novel 'Black Machetes'

"Black Machetes" introduces Benjamin Wilder as a twelve-year-old boy who suffers horrible abuse at the hands of his step-dad, aka the Rabid Dog, until one day the abuse boils over into a psychopathic reality that forces Ben to run and never look back. But, as the past oftentimes does, his previous life haunts him until he must face, as a man, the very same malevolence that destroyed his childhood.
