Second Annual Belk Southern Designer Showcase Winners Announced

CHARLOTTE, N.C., June 21, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- Belk has selected 13 winners from nearly 300 entrants in the retailer's second annual Southern Designer Showcase competition. The showcase winners listed below were announced at an event at Belk corporate headquarters.

Discovering new Southern design talent and featuring their products in stores is an important element of Belk's Southern Designer Showcase competition.  This year's designers offer fresh new looks in women's apparel, jewelry, handbags and children's apparel. In 2012, fifteen designers were chosen as winners of the inaugural competition and in spring 2013, their products launched in select Belk stores around the country and on belk.com.
