Avery, CPP, welcomed Derek Evans to his staff serving greater Manhattan.   Avery commented, "We are very excited to have Derek join Securitas to offer a fresh approach to our already specialized team.  In his role with the organization, Derek will focus on developing relationships and new growth opportunities within the various business markets throughout New York. 

Evans has over 25 years of professional experience which includes domestic and international security risk assessment and management.  He has conducted extensive criminal, civil and administrative investigations, applying his skills in law enforcement, security management and business development throughout the U.S. and overseas. 

As a Federal law enforcement agent, Mr. Evans has worked with the FDIC Office of Inspector General, the Department of the Interior as well as with the U. S. Secret Service where he was assigned to the Presidential Protective Division both as a Special Agent and as a member of the Counter-Assault Team. 

A graduate of Clark College in Atlanta, with a B.A. in Business Administration, he has been a member of the Federal Law Enforcement Officers Association (FLEOA) since 1994 and a member of ASIS Northern New Jersey Chapter since 2008.
