The Kindle allows SRC Digital to continue to grow our business from our traditional U.S. professional investor community to both professional and individual investors in the U.S. and globally," said Eric Ciambra, Executive Vice President of SRC Digital. "As the demand for SRC's charts has increased, we can now get our products to both domestic and international investors faster with the ability to deliver electronic versions via the Kindle Store to the Kindle and the Kindle DX. International investors will have the same convenient and timely access to the same precise stock chart data that Wall Street professionals and U.S. investors have been successfully using for the last 77 years."
Founded in 1933 by chart pioneer Richard McKay, SRC stock charts are renowned in the professional investor community for their ease of use and accuracy. The charts and other information appearing in the SRC publications are derived from data provided by one or more third party information sources. In recent years, Interactive Data Corporation has been a primary data provider for data used by SRC. SRC is the only stock charting publisher that provides complete graphical representation of price, volume, earnings and dividends reaching back 50 years. Unlike other stock charts, SRC has no gaps in earnings or missing adjustments for stock splits. As a result, SRC is the only financial information publisher that is capable of furnishing a complete, long-term perspective of a stock's performance. Chart features that are unique to SRC's publications include:
- SRC stock charts are semi-log scale and show the percentage moves of a stock instead of arithmetic moves used by most stock charts. SRC's semi-log scale allows you to easily compare the performance of one stock to another – regardless of the stock price.
- Company earnings are adjusted for extraordinary items – giving you the most accurate picture of earnings performance.
- Significant company events are noted, and each chart contains critical financial information to help you make smart investment choices.
All data has been fully adjusted for stock dividends and splits.
