Inc. 5000 and ThinkAdvisor Luminaries recognitions come amid continued investment in SEIA's leadership, advisor model and expanding wealth management capabilities
LOS ANGELES, Sept. 24, 2026 /PRNewswire/ -- Signature Estate & Investment Advisors (SEIA), a nationally recognized wealth management firm, today announced a series of industry recognitions reflecting the firm's continued growth and evolution as it approaches its 30th anniversary. SEIA rose to No. 18 on Barron's 2026 Top 100 RIA Firms ranking, was named to the 2026 Inc. 5000 list of America's fastest-growing private companies and earned three finalist honors in the ThinkAdvisor 2026 Luminaries Awards for its approach to comprehensive financial planning.
Founded in 1997 by Brian Holmes, Gary Liska, Mark Copeland and Paul Taghibagi, SEIA has grown from a firm built by four founding partners into a national wealth management organization with more than $36 billion in assets under management. Nearly three decades later, all four remain part of SEIA: Holmes serves as CEO, while Liska, Copeland and Taghibagi continue as Founding Partners and active advisors, with all four serving as members of SEIA's Investment Committee.
Many of SEIA's advisors have spent more than 20 years with the organization, reflecting the firm's long history of developing advisors and leadership from within. As SEIA has grown, it has continued to build on that foundation, broadening its leadership and infrastructure to support the firm's national growth.
SEIA's broader leadership team has expanded alongside the firm, with President Matt Matrisian working alongside Holmes to lead its national growth strategy, longtime SEIA executive Eric Rosen serving as Chief Operating Officer, and Matt Floit leading business development and organic growth as Chief Growth Officer.
"As we approach 30 years, these recognitions are an opportunity to reflect on how far SEIA has come while keeping our focus firmly on what comes next," said Brian Holmes, CEO and Co-Founder of SEIA. "We've grown significantly since four of us founded the firm in 1997, but growth has never simply been about becoming bigger. It's about continuing to strengthen what we can provide to our advisors and clients and building a firm positioned to serve them for generations to come."
SEIA rose to No. 18 on Barron's 2026 Top 100 RIA Firms ranking, up from No. 19 in 2025. Barron's annual ranking of independent advisory companies is based on assets managed by the firms, growth, technology spending, succession planning and other metrics.
SEIA was also named to the 2026 Inc. 5000, the annual ranking of the fastest-growing private companies in America based on three-year revenue growth.
The firm's Signature Planning Process was also selected as a finalist in three Product or Service Innovation categories in the 2026 ThinkAdvisor Luminaries Awards, spanning financial and tax planning, wealth management and advisor education. The finalist honors reflect SEIA's continued focus on bringing together the different areas of a client's financial life through coordinated planning. That approach is supported by continued investment in specialized planning capabilities under Brad Repinsky, Esq., Head of Estate, Tax, and Financial Planning. Last month, SEIA also announced an expansion of its wealth management capabilities, including the launch of SEIA Tax Services, led by Tim Gacsy, Director of Tax Services, and expanded family office capabilities through Baker Tilly Family Office for qualifying clients.
"The foundation SEIA has built over nearly three decades gives us an incredible opportunity to continue evolving how we serve clients and support advisors," said Matt Matrisian, President of SEIA. "We're bringing together deeper expertise, stronger technology and more integrated capabilities across the firm so our advisors have the resources to address increasingly sophisticated client needs. These recognitions reinforce the progress we're making and the opportunity we see ahead."

The Barron's Top 100 RIA Firms 2026, awarded in September 2026, was based on an evaluation process conducted by Barron's, an American weekly magazine/newspaper published by Dow Jones & Company, for the period July 1, 2025 through June 30, 2026. Participation in the ranking is by invitation only and limited to firms that meet Barron's eligibility requirements. SEIA paid post-award fees for licensing rights and to obtain article reprints. Barron's verifies data with firms and regulatory databases and applies its proprietary rankings formula to generate the ranking. The formula includes three major categories of calculations: 1) assets, 2) revenue, and 3) quality of practice. Qualitative factors such as advisor experience; advanced degrees and industry designations; the size, shape, and diversity of teams; charitable and philanthropic work; and compliance records are also considered.
