Semiconductor Veteran Sam Srinivasan Joins Aquantia's Board of Directors
SAN JOSE, Calif., March 14, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- Aquantia Corp., a leader in the design, development and marketing of advanced high-speed communications integrated circuits for Ethernet connectivity for the data center and enterprise markets, today announced that industry veteran Sam Srinivasan has been elected to its Board of Directors, effective immediately. Mr. Srinivasan has also been appointed as Chairman of the company's Audit Committee.

Mr. Srinivasan brings more than 25 years of semiconductor industry and corporate finance experience to Aquantia's board of directors. He currently serves as the Chairman of the Audit Committee of Inphi Corporation, a NYSE-listed semiconductor company, and has previously held the same position for the semiconductor companies SiRF Technology Holdings, Inc., Centillium Communications, Inc. and Leadis Technology, Inc. Mr. Srinivasan is also the founder and Chairman Emeritus of Health Language, Inc.
Earlier in his career, Mr. Srinivasan served as Senior Vice President, Finance and Chief Financial Officer of Cirrus Logic, Inc., and Director, Internal Audits and Corporate Controller of Intel Corporation. He also held various executive positions in the finance department of Eaton Corporation, including Director, Internal Audits. Mr. Srinivasan earned his B.A. in commerce from Madras University, India and his M.B.A. from Case Western Reserve University. He is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and is a former member of The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India and the Institute of Cost and Works Accountants of India.
