SenSage Recognized as a Finalist in the 2010 GSN Homeland Security Awards
SenSage Named a Finalist for Best SIEM Solution; Customer Implementation with the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs also Nominated as Most Effective Federal Agency Security Program, Project or Agency
SAN FRANCISCO, Nov. 3, 2010 /PRNewswire/ -- SenSage, Inc., a leading provider of Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) systems, today announced that the company has been selected as a finalist in two categories in the 2010 GSN: Government Security News Homeland Security Awards. Specifically, SenSage is being recognized in the Best SIEM Solution category and for having the Most Effective Federal Agency Security Project with the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) Office of Information and Technology (Region 1).
The Homeland Security Awards finalists were selected by a panel of objective and independent judges. These awards were created by Government Security News to salute dedicated officials and their agencies and departments at federal, state and local levels of government who have created effective and cost-efficient security programs. They were also created to salute the outstanding vendors of IT and Physical Security products who have introduced innovative, amazing technologies and products that protect our nation and its people 24/7.
According to Adrian Courtenay, Chairman of World Business Media, LLC, "The initiatives described in the entries from federal, state and local government agencies were perfectly targeted in addressing our vulnerabilities, and the entries from the vendors of IT and physical security products were dazzling in their technological brilliance, reflecting the great public-private partnership that keeps our homeland safe and secure."
Hundreds of organizations around the world, including top federal government agencies, rely upon SenSage Security Intelligence Solutions for more holistic IT oversight, real-time alerting and investigation, incident response and compliance reporting. Combining a patented event data warehouse platform and interactive analytics environment, SenSage Security Intelligence solutions are more scalable, flexible and affordable than traditional SIEM, log management and data warehouse point products. SenSage solutions are used for real-time monitoring in security operations centers, historical trending by security planning analysts, exception reporting and follow-up by compliance officers, and detailed fact gathering by forensic investigators.
