(UL) in the U.S., Canada, Europe and Australia, and can be used in a variety of applications, including monitoring ammunition rooms, oil and gas processing, laboratories, paint shop humidity monitoring, pharmaceutical storage and heating ventilation and air-conditioning (HVAC) systems monitoring.  It has a UL Intrinsic Safety rating, validating that it has been lab-tested to prevent a spark or thermal effect that could potentially cause ignition from occurring in explosive atmospheres where combustible gas and/or dust could be present.
