Seven Corners Offers Enhanced Benefits for non-U.S. Citizens Traveling to the United States

CARMEL, Ind., Sept. 5, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- Seven Corners, Inc., an international health insurance company, is increasing travel insurance benefits for non-U.S. citizens traveling to the United States, for coverage of an Acute Onset of a Pre-existing Condition.

"Typically, pre-existing conditions are not covered at all or are covered in a limited fashion on most travel medical insurance plans," explains Curt Carlson, Vice President of Sales for Seven Corners. "Our Liaison Continent product has provided coverage for an Acute Onset of Pre-existing Conditions for a year now, and we are very pleased to increase the dollar limit of this benefit."

The enhanced levels are offered in a way that allows the purchaser to control the amount of the coverage, within a specified range. The Acute Onset benefit is tied to the overall medical maximum selected by the customer and is adjusted upward as the chosen medical maximum is increased. "This allows the purchaser to further customize their plan while increasing a benefit we feel is an important offering in meeting our customer's needs," continued Carlson. The medical expense benefit levels will range from $50,000 to $100,000 for lifetime maximums, while the lifetime maximum for Emergency Medical Evacuation will remain at $25,000. Coverage is provided for an Acute Onset of a Pre-existing Condition if you are a foreign national traveling to the United States under age 70.
