Workers' Compensation Providers Gain Medical EDI Access to Leading Payer in 16 Midwest States

SFM is implementing electronic bill acceptance via Jopari utilizing the ASC X12 medical EDI transaction standards promulgated by the International Association of Industrial Accident Boards and Commissions (IAIABC). Many jurisdictions have already implemented eBilling rules and additional states are moving forward to implement rules. Midwest Providers have experience using the HIPAA required electronic billing formats for commercial claims, and many are already connected to Jopari for access to other Property and Casualty payers. SFM Mutual is joining that group of payers.
