Shanahan Selected to be Authorized Reseller and Installer for New A/V Products

LOWELL, Mass., July 20, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- Shanahan, a sound and video integration company serving New England clients, has announced two new strategic partnerships allowing it to expand its audio visual offering to include digital signage solutions and assistive listening devices. The company has been selected as an authorized reseller of Carousel, a digital signage system by Tightrope Media Systems and an authorized reseller and installer of assistive listening systems from Hearing Loop Systems.

Hearing Loop Systems initially selected Shanahan to assist the Michigan-based company install an assistive listening system for a New England client. Shanahan has completed the process to become an authorized reseller and installer for Hearing Loop Systems. A loop system delivers audio from a sound system directly to telecoil-equipped hearing aids and cochlear implants. The telecoil serves as an antenna to relay sounds directly into the ear without background noise. The hearing loop systems are ideal for churches, concert halls, theaters, meeting rooms, courtrooms, classrooms and any other space that provides audio information or entertainment to the public. Induction loop systems take sound straight from the source and deliver it directly and discreetly to the listener using the individuals hearing device – no more handing out head phones and blurring of sound.
