Indiegogo Crowdfunding Campaign To Impact Lives with the Gift of Music
SCOTTSDALE, Ariz., Sept. 15, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- Share Your Blessings, Inc. (SYB), a non-profit organization providing the gift of music to people with special needs and organizations who serve them, is launching a crowd-funding effort with Indiegogo on September 15, 2015 to raise $100,000. This money will fuel a well-established music gifting program serving the special needs community well into 2016.
Music has proven to provide healing therapeutic benefits, relief from stress, improved quality of life, and the ability to connect with others. In 2015, Share Your Blessings collaborated with Beamz Interactive, Inc., a leading developer of interactive music products, to create a music gifting program for people with special needs called Project Maestro. The intent of Project Maestro is to counteract the daily stresses and hardships handled by individuals and families with special needs/disabilities by offering a free opportunity to have fun making music with family and friends using the Beamz Music System (normal MSRP $249.95).

Over the next six months, Project Maestro plans to gift 1,000 Beamz Music Systems to individuals, families and professionals who serve people with various special needs and disabilities including, Autism/Asperger's, Cerebral Palsy, Down syndrome, Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI), Multiple Sclerosis, Muscular Dystrophy, ALS, PTSD, Stroke, Spinal Cord Injuries, and the like. The Indiegogo fund raising program will allow gifting to be expanded well into 2016.
The Beamz Home Edition (value of $249.95) is the product gifted to individuals and families for home play. It includes an Activity Guide with 14 games and activities for fun. Gifts to non-profit organizations include the Beamz Professional Edition, Therapy Guides, Music Therapy Protocols and/or Life Skills Lesson Plans to provide the resources to incorporate Beamz into programming, services, events and other activities. It also includes providing Beamz Home Edition products for those non-profits to give directly to individuals and families they serve.
