Shawn Hunter, President and CEO of Chivas USA Confirmed as Keynote Speaker for Fremont College's 2010 Commencement Ceremony
LOS ANGELES and CERRITOS, Calif., June 21 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- Shawn Hunter, President and CEO of Chivas USA and member of Fremont College's Advisory Board for the College of Wellness, has been confirmed as the Keynote Speaker for Fremont College's 2010 Commencement ceremony.
This year, Fremont College is recognizing the achievement of more than 100 of its students. The Commencement ceremony will be held at noon on Saturday, June 26, at The Westin Long Beach Hotel.
Shawn Hunter will be speaking to Fremont College's graduates about the importance of building their "personal brands." As Hunter explained, "One of the great things about graduation is that so many doors are opened up for you, and that can be the first opportunity you for building your personal brand. But the work you do on your personal brand after that decides what doors will open for the rest of your life."

Shawn Hunter is one of the most experienced and innovative sports marketing minds in the United States, with an accomplished twenty-year track record in sports marketing, ticket sales, and corporate partnerships. Prior to leading the Major League Soccer team Chivas USA, Hunter served as Chief Marketing Officer and President of AEG Sports, President of the NHL's Phoenix Coyotes, and Executive VP of the Colorado Avalanche.
