Shelby County School District Completes Installation of Green Ballast Smart Lighting in Eleven Schools
MEMPHIS, Tenn., June 5, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- Green Ballast Inc., (OTC BB: GBLL) announced today that it had completed a total lighting project for eleven Shelby County Schools (SCS) . In addition to incorporating its patented daylight harvesting fluorescent light ballasts, Green Ballast performed a complete energy efficient lighting upgrade on the eleven schools that included new lights in the classrooms, hallways, offices and some of the gyms and auditoriums.
The Shelby County School District is the fourth largest in Tennessee serving over 47,000 students.

- Produce energy savings of 30% to 70% by replacing the existing lights we were using
- Improve the quality of lighting within the existing schools
- Reduce our repair and maintenance costs
