NEW YORK, Aug. 1, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- SHENKMAN CAPITAL MANAGEMENT, INC., one of the largest independent managers of high yield assets in the United States, is pleased to announce it has acquired the European high yield business of a large institutional asset manager.  The team is comprised of Curt Schibli, portfolio manager; Jonathan Goble, senior credit analyst; and Oliver Chamberlain, trader, who have worked together for 15 years.

The new investment strategies now offered by Shenkman include: BB/B European High Yield, Global High Yield and broad European High Yield, all of which are overseen by Mr. Schibli.
