Shipman Companies Revive Award-Winning Golf and Tennis Club

FORT WORTH, Texas, Jan. 24, 2019 /PRNewswire/ -- Shipman Companies, a local, family owned real estate investment firm located in Burleson, Texas, are excited to announce the reopening of Southern Oaks Golf and Tennis Club in South Fort Worth on February 1, 2019. When the property closed last November, it was quickly purchased by Shipman Companies whom have since worked with a professional management company, Elite Golf, to oversee the course for the first time in the history of Southern Oaks.

Shipman Companies is also proud to have the Gardens Hospitality Group and the owners and operators of the Gardens Restaurant from the Fort Worth Botanical Gardens in Fort Worth as the new owner and operator of the Oaks Event Center. Rebecca Madan is the Director of Sales and Marketing for the center. "I've already booked ten new weddings for the Event Center, and we haven't even officially opened!" Madan says they have upgraded the menus, moved to a private room and updated the decor to a more sophisticated, elegant look.
