Shippan Turkey Trot Celebrates Eleventh Year of Costumed Runners Raising Money for the Homeless

STAMFORD, Conn., Nov. 21, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- The Shippan Turkey Trot is back to race and raise funds for those in need. A tradition of physical endurance, creative expression, and charitable giving, the Trot celebrates its 11th year this Thanksgiving morning in Stamford, CT. As usual, anyone can join. All donations go directly to the Shelter for the Homeless in Stamford, CT. Canned food donations will also be accepted.
