Mehta will be responsible for driving ShoeBuy's technology and infrastructure to further enhance and transform the customer shopping experience.

Prior to joining the company as CTO, Mehta had been working with ShoeBuy as a consultant on SEO and marketing initiatives, driving significant improvements to processes and performance in these important channels. Mehta brings 15 years of experience in the IT field to his new role. During his seven years with IBM Global Services, he constructed and managed multi-million dollar solutions for major e-commerce corporations, including several Internet Retailer Top 100 companies. Additionally, he led IBM's recruiting efforts where he trained candidates and developed IT teams. Mehta also successfully managed his own IT consulting and architecture firm, where he led the development of high-profile e-commerce and Java applications at both Staples and Quill for consumer and business-facing channels.
Mehta holds a Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering from Cornell University.
